Well this one had me stumped.

A message with a zip file attachment was blocked and held in the Mailscanner quarantine.

Going into the Mailwatch system, and releasing it - it immediately gets blocked and quarantined again. Read more

Free Anti-Virus and Security Round-up

Every now and then, my laptop needs a clean re-install. On my list of essential programs, is anti-virus. Over the past few years, I’ve gone for Norton Internet Security. It does a good job I think, even if it seems to slow my system down a bit.

Well, this morning I was chatting with my twin brother Peter (we’re supposed to be identical, so how come I’m better looking than him?)..

Peter pointed me to Microsoft’s new offering - its free anti-virus program - Microsoft Security Essentials

Smart Twitter Marketing

Twitter fascinates me at the moment - someone has even written a book - The Twitter Survival Guide! - well actually there are lots of books now, but this one caught my attention..

It seems that many people are using twitter to market and promote themselves - in smart ways. One that caught my eye was PerryBelcher - he’s used a custom background image on twitter to show his contact details and sites - very cool. Well Perry has about 74,000 followers on twitter - I’m not sure what that translates to in terms of results, but it looks good!
